Best Hours For Forex Trading
If you want to earn extra cash aside from employment or even business, investments are the ideal third options.
Such as options and forex trading.
Since I traded forex, I will be touching upon this.
As core engine of all currencies in transitions globally. It is also most liquid financial market in the world amounting up to trillions of dollars daily.
It also operates 24 hours from Mondays to Fridays.
However, while it is the most profitable, it also carries high risks.
Because while you can win trades and earn profits as reward, you can lose money as well should market goes against your trades.
Due to ignorance and blindly following advice of their peers, most people simply traded to make money without proper education and risk management.
If I ask you how much money you like to make, you can give any figure you want.
But if I ask you whether you can lose the same amount you want to make, you will certainly say no.
Unfortunately, yet honestly, that is the double-edged sword which forex can be especially during major news events which resulted in market volatility.
Therefore, before trading, it is critical for you to do due diligence.
If you do not know how, you need to learn from those who know.
That is when Forex education comes in for beginners which I already explained in my other article.
Here I will address which hours are best to trade in the markets.
Forex market starts on Monday mornings at 5am in my local Singapore and Asian time and 5pm in the west.
The major markets in Forex are United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland , New Zealand, Japan, Canada and Australia.
There will always be traders buying and selling globally.
You will also discover that when one market closes, another opens.
Forex market transaction volume is always high during the whole day.
However, it peaks the highest when the Asian, European and the US markets open at the same time.
With that said, below are the trading hours in the Forex market you need to note to achieve the most profitable trades.
• New York – 8am to 4pm EST
• London – 2am to 12nn EST
• Great Britain – 3am to 11am EST
• Tokyo – 8pm to 4am EST
• Australia – 7pm to 3am EST
If you look at the schedule and study it, you will see that there are two instances where 2 of the major markets overlap on trading hours.
These are between 2am and 4am EST with Asian and European markets and 8am to 12pm EST with European and North American.
These are the things you should remember when trading in the Forex market.
It is not only important that you know how to trade and know some strategies on Forex trading,
But you should also know the best time to trade based on your schedule.
If you follow all these, you can be sure that you can earn a potentially higher profit faster.
